All deliveries are sent using Royal Mail 24–48 hour Recorded mail. Your order will be dispatched within two working days, Monday–Thursday, allow 5 working days for seeds. We want our saplings to reach you in perfect condition and do not want them stuck in a sorting office all weekend, so we do not dispatch them on Fridays.
Shipping costs are calculated on a product weight based system starting at £3.95 up to a maximum of £7.10
For our goods this system works really well. We do not profit on postage charges and often take a small loss.
If you are overcharged on postage we will refund the overcharge once we have dispatched your order.
If your item does not arrive, and where we can provide a valid tracking number, we will make a claim against Royal Mail for non-delivery of goods. In this event we will also give Royal Mail the full details of your order. You should inspect your goods for damage upon receipt. Contact us immediately if there is a problem.
We will only issue a refund if goods are returned in the original state we sent them. If your trees arrive damaged or dead, contact us within 2 days of receipt with a photo of the damaged goods. A full refund of the goods and postal charges will be issued in the event of badly damaged or dead trees due to postal stresses, but refunds will not be issued without photographic evidence. It is the purchaser's responsibility for the return postal costs.
The purchaser is responsible for payment of any import taxes, duties or levies imposed by your country. If in doubt, check before you buy.
It is your responsibility to find out if a particular species of tree can be legally imported into your country.
